I think our fashion is influenced by what people wear. For example, geek spectacles, which I am wearing, made famous by, these people, who are famous musicians or singers. These people are spotted wearing these spectacles by media, which is helped by none other than technology!
Also, Justin Bieber's hair (and hair flip) before his haircut,
has been followed ever since he became famous due to the huge media coverage thanks to technology.
This is why some people shop on Amazon.com. You can find things that looks almost exactly like what the star has worn before. For example....

Some people would like to look like the celebrity or... something? Some people actually go to this extent... All this because of TECHNOLOGY. These stars star in TV shows, they are singers, soccer players, or actors! All these are made possible by technology. It is amazing what technology can do for us. :)

I think that if you succumb and start to buy this celebrity merchandise, you shall end up looking desperate. Even if you mimic Justin Bieber and wear the same clothes as him, or even put on his mask, You must still remember that you are an individual, no matter how much you try to become a star. A very easy alternative is becoming a star.(actually it is not that easy).
ReplyDeleteI also think that people are really becoming influenced. In fact I know some people who are wearing( or used to wear) geek glasses. Since so many celebrities wear them, it is no wonder that a trend has started.

I agree with Rei. People who are influenced by the celebrity trend tends to dress like them. All they wanted was to gain fame too, but in the end, they not only waste their money, but also look desperate and lose face. As for Syafiqah's geek glasses, ... *winkwink* (She actually wears that because she likes it not because she wants to act like Justin Bieber or something and she looks awesome in it too :D)

I agree with both of them. I think that just by wearing the same clothes and having the same hair style as your idols, does not change the real you. (Even though I am guilty of doing that) This just make you look fake and it would not make people like you more just because you are 'Justin Bieber' The geek glasses are kind of cool, but I think that it is not my cup of tea. It would be too big for my face! :D Anyway, I think the mask are quite freaky. Imagine seeing one at night! HAHA! However, technology still does affect the fashion sense of the people!
