Hi there! I'm so so very sorry for the extremely late post! Have you ever wanted to fold origami, but could never understand what the instructions are from the book? Now, with technology, you will never find it difficult to fold origami anymore! You can always go onto YouTube and find a particular thing you want to fold, watch the video and TA DA you would have made a nice origami!! It is really that simple! Remember Express Yourselves Day and Mr Chue let us fold an origami Twitter Bird?
Here is the link for you to try it yourself! (It is quite difficult to fold)

Here is another link where you can learn much more origami. The best part is, there are videos for all the origami designs which are displayed on the website. http://en.origami-club.com/
If you think origami is starting to get boring, you can always find innovative ways to make it more enjoyable. Look at these pictures.
You can make them into charms for your earingss, braclets, or necklaces! Even fashion comes from origami!
Of course, do not ever wear this pair of shoes out!
Now do you see how you can learn how to fold different designs of origami and at the same, have fun? I hope you have learnt something from this post, and take on the art of folding origami as your hobby!
Sorry if my posts are getting longer and longer and getting more boring!

Wow! The shoes looked like, well, SHOES! They're very nice! I think that origami using the internet! I still remember during International Friendship Day, Mr. Chue let us try the twitter bird! Almost everyone was lost halfway, well, practise makes perfect, so, I will try till I get it right!

I think that the shoes must have been extremely difficult to fold. In origami, it is very difficult to get all the folds. I know for one thing, that if you fold even slightly out of line, the beauty of the piece will be lost. I still remember International friendship day and no, I will not try to make the bird again. The person who folded the bird must have practised dozens of times before he made a beautiful bird.
ReplyDeleteOrigami is indeed a wonderful and exquisite art.
Thinking back to the day when we had Express Yourself Day, I remember Mr Chue showing us the video of how to fold a twitter bird. I kind of got lost in the process and therefore, I went home to try it out instead. Who knew that I got so hooked up in folding origami that I went out to try out some others for example the Macaw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ8fTRamkCg), Kangaroo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COgQlI0HzDU&feature=grec_index), etc.
ReplyDeleteOrigami is indeed a good hobby for people to take up since it not only helps you to spent your time wisely and improves your focus, it also teaches you a life value: Peserverance.
